Job Description

Tactical integration/migration (not looking for just architecture type role)

Strong experience in the following areas:

·         ***Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills; ability to train and work with a team on AWS integrations & migrations

·         Extensive experience in all phases of software development life cycle, designing and integrating applications

·         AWS Glue, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, AWS Redshift, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Athena, AWS S3, Python, Spark, NodeJS, Terraform, EC2

·         Key Competencies

·         Cloud Strategy & Migration (on-prem to AWS)

·         Project Management – Agile/Scrum

·         CI/CD tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Terraforms, Cloud Formation, Jenkins, etc.)

Expertise in the following areas:

·         Migration experience for moving from on-prem to AWS

·         .NET development experience

·         Experience or clear understanding of ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica , Glue)

·         Experience using SQL and Oracle databases

·         Understanding AWS Key management service (setting-up/access)

·         Scale Horizontally – Lambda or Docker/EKS/ECS

·         Application Logging and Log Aggregation

·         Installing Lambda in Visual Studio/.NET

·         Automate the deployment of said Lambda (using uDeploy or Jenkins)

·         Correctly secure cloud resources in the VPC

·         Getting DNS entries for cloud resources

·         How to  scheduled tasks in AWS

·         Guidance for AWS native logging patterns
