Job Title: PL/SQL Developer

Location: Plano, TX Day 1 on site (Hybrid model)

Duration: Long Term – contract

Experience Level: 9+ Years

Job Description:

We are looking for PL/SQL developers for a client position to work on development / maintenance / support of a database powering an important surveillance / compliance tool.

Job Responsibilities

·         Work with Product owner to refine/elaborate requirements for enhancements / new development

·         Develop and enhance new queries / stored procedures to support new requirements

·         Work with DBA to design / modify database tables in support of any new requirements

·         Work with DBA to optimize execution of new / existing queries

·         Create Ad-hoc queries to help L1/L2 support team diagnose issues

·         Run Ad-hoc queries / database jobs to fix reported data issues

·         Provide L1/L2/L3 support t for database issues

·         Co-ordinate between various stakeholders and development teams to clarify requirements, execute and implement changes

Experience / Skills needed:

·         9+ years’ experience developing and maintaining queries and PL/SQL stored procedures

·         4+ years’ experience in maintaining / designing tables in an Oracle databases

·         5 years’ experience with bulk loading data in an Oracle databases

·         Must have ability to work independently with minimal direction

·         Strong interpersonal & communication skills
