Role : SAP HCM Techno functional TIME consultant

Location : Atlanta, GA

Visa :  NO H1 Transfers

Job Roles / Responsibilities:       

SAP HCM Functional Consultant, expertise in OM, PA, Payroll, Benefits, Time Management, and third party interfaces. Required Utilities industry with 10-15 years of experience.    

  • Provide SAP HCM functional expertise by acting as subject matter expert and lead team through the entire systems development lifecycle
  • Responsible for incidents and change management
  • Work end to end on the project life cycle including fit/gap, configuration, and testing including parallel testing
  • Work with the system integrators to get the SAP system configured including Quality assurance and acceptance of the deliverables by the integrator






·         Ability to work as a team player in matrix organization with business and IT teams

·         Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills

·         Experience with the full lifecycle of SAP Payroll implementations

·         Strong analytical capabilities. Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on business processes as well as IT systems 

·         MUST HAVE:

o    Solution design and configuration of standard Time Recording components of SAP HCM-TM module

o   Proven solution design and configuration of complex Time Evaluation policies including writing schemas and PCRs for overtime, shift premiums, substitutions, and absence quotas, and other time-related policies

o   Mulitple full-cycle implementations of complex Time Evaluation policies

o   Ability to support Time and CATSDB Interfaces to/from external systems

o   SAP Standard and Custom TM reporting skills

o   Understanding of TM integration with SAP HR modules including security

o   Ability to support TM Interfaces to/from external systems

o   Ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities

·         Ability to design business processes from the ground up for efficiency and to align with SAP functional modules

·         Good understanding of US Payroll, including but not limited to: W-2s, year-end processing, entire HCM/payroll cycle, processes and compliance reporting

·         Deep understanding of integrations with third party Time/Attendance and Benefits vendors

·         Good understanding of US specific topics such as Garnishments, Benefits, FLSA and compliance reporting

·         Deep and broad knowledge of SAP HR ABAP, incl implemetations

·         Ability to work with func teams (Cognizant and client) in composing technical solutions to func reqs

·         Ability to recognize and escalate issues as they occur and provide reasonable solutions within client & Cognizant guidelines

Ability to execute and history of managing & prioritizing workload and leading onsite/offshore teams
