Responsibilities
· This position is responsible for providing business requested enhancements and improvements to Web based applications.
· Manages the production and other environment problem determination, remediation and reporting.
· Timely reports source data issues to other groups or vendors.
· Responsible for maintaining application artifacts and documentation.
· Works with architecture to ensure optimized technical design and performance for application.
· Support non-scheduled activities necessary to keep applications functional.
Skills
· Bachelor's degree or comparable, progressive experience
· 6+ years relevant work experience; development preferred
· Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Technical
· Java, Tomcat, AngularJS, Angular, React
· JSP and Servlets
· Web Frameworks : Spring, Jersey
· Service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST)
· Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
· Markup languages like XML and JSON
· SQL, Linux
· J2EE, WebSphere
· Enterprise Java Beans, RMI, JDBC
· Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and patterns
· Java virtual machine (JVM) and memory management
· Dependency injection
