Position               : Lead QA Engineering

Location              : Tampa,FL (Initial remote)

 

JD:Knowledge / Skills

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in test methodologies and integration of business applications to achieve an efficient testing effort that delivers a quality system to its customers including the following areas:

• Must have Good understanding of Test Maturity models and methods/processes to improve overall test maturity in areas of delivery, data, environment and Governance

· Understanding requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model;

· Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to deliver custom developed and packaged applications;

· Experienced in Agile practices, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Continuous testing.

· Well experienced in Software Quality Principles, Advanced Test Methodologies, Best Practices and Procedures

· Understanding Quality Metrics, KPIs, Data Visualization, Data Analytics and its impact on IT organizations. 

· Understanding Testing Maturity Models and how they are applied to increase maturity of quality and IT organization  to enable continuous improvement.

· Experienced in developing process improvements, metrics, reports and dashboards.

· Experienced with test management tools like qTest, ADO, HP ALM.

· Experience with tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik.

· Experience in system analytics ,SQL queries and Microsoft office Suite

· Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel to build macros, pivot tables, reports.

· Experienced in Data Visualization, Data Analytics and Dashboard designs.

· Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions.

· Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights

· Understanding conventional and cloud testing strategies.

· Ability to perform and communicate at different levels

Responsibilities

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in quality assurance for large project testing efforts

• Understands Test Maturity models and methods/processes to improve overall test maturity in areas of delivery, data, environment and Governance

· Works on tasks that involve analysis and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.

· Leads initiatives to analyze and identify improvement opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.

· Collaborates with Business and IT partners to ensure quality delivery of technology solutions.Facilitates and delivers organization wide IT transformation efforts

· Provides consultation within complex environments and solves problems.

· Develop and maintain key relationships with all impacted areas and stakeholders.

· Develops deep rooted expertise to provide long term support.

· Leads quality & maturity assessment activities.

· Develops action plans to improve overall quality, maturity and capabilities to measure..

· Leads and delivers action plans by partnering with Stakeholders and Domain SMEs.

· Support/Monitors adoption of process and governance action plans. 

· Evangelizes best practices to the IT and Business teams.

· Creates test strategy, plans, detailed activity breakdown.

· Participates in building roadmaps and schedules. Ensures delivery timelines are met.

· Creates and maintains artifacts and documentations. 

· Communicates status of initiatives to key stakeholders

· Performs gap analysis and root cause analysis to provide recommendations

· Leads the introduction of change in process by collaborating with stakeholders.

· Flexible to work in different timezones
