I've made a little tool that extracts all strings from dictionary.xml
in a text file, in a "text=" format, allowing to put translation there
easily. Text file can later be imported back to dictionary with a
given language tag (e.g. 'ru'). Tool requires MS .NET Framework v3.

BTW, there are many strings in PMNet which are not taken from
dictionary.xml. Is there any way to translate the program completely?

We would need to add those strings to the code and make a new
version. If you can provide a list of the strings that are not
translating, we can work on that. I appreciate the PMNET tool. That
is really great!

If you provide the strings a locations where they are not translating
a new version will be out.

messaging about pmnet.

Also, if you have smaller project needs, I am working on a online PM
solution : http://jacob-6.appspot.com/

Thank you,

Hi!

Thank you for the PMNET, it really is great :)

Well, that's not easy, there are too many areas in the program and
it's hard to get the string list.
Main areas I've noticed:
- none of table headers are translated
- 'Drag a column header here to group by that column.' label
- tooltips for a toolbars in Milestones and Tasks tables in
Milestones view (yet tooltips for Subtasks/Linked Tasks are translated
in Edit Task dialog)
- pop-up menus for Milestones and Tasks in Milestones view and for
Tasks in Project Tree view
- 'Main Page' title in Summary view, items in combo boxes with 'All
Incomplete Tasks' stuff in Summary
- Project Tree view ('Project Tree', 'Milestones for Project:', 'Task
Notes' and tooltips in tasks toolbar)
BTW, it would be great if double-click on item in Project Tree opened
it for editing instead of collapsing/expanding the branch.
- 'Select Users' dialog (in Change Assignment... menu)
- 'Column Chooser' dialog
- 'Source Configuration' dialog
- Toolips in Search Task dialog, also 'Task Notes' there
- Group By and Completion combo-box contents in Advanced Reports
dialog
- Titles in 'Task Summary' pop-up
BTW, I'm unable to to close 'Task Summary' pop-up by ESC key in
3.0.1.12
