Lombok installer not detecting Spring Tool Suite (STS) 5.x.x

Hello Lombok Team,

I’m facing an issue where the Lombok installer does not identify Spring Tool Suite (STS) version 5.x.x during installation.

Details:

  • Lombok version: [please insert]

  • STS version: 5.0.0

  • OS: Windows

  • Java: JDK 22

  • Installation method: lombok.jar installer & manually updated .ini file by adding -javaagent:lombok.jar

When running the Lombok installer, STS 5.0.0 is not detected automatically, and therefore Lombok is not configured for it. Older STS versions seem to be detected correctly.

I wanted to check:

  1. Whether STS 5.x.x is officially supported by the current Lombok installer

  2. If this is a known issue or limitation

  3. Whether there is a recommended workaround or planned fix

Please let me know if any additional logs or details would help diagnose this further.
