I don't use IntelliJ, but from a JUG discussion it sounds as the Lombok
Plugin for IntelliJ works, at least at a first smoke test. Wouldn't it be
worth while mentioning?

I downloaded the latest Community Edition and installed the plugin from
here (http://code.google.com/p/lombok-intellij-plugin/) - I can confirm
that a first smoke test works (a Maven project of mine which uses Lombok
is fine).

it only works on version 11 of IntelliJ. Every attempt on IntelliJ 12 has so far failed miserably for me, it does not seem to work at all.

I just used the latest one, 12.1.3 on Mac OS X (May 10, 2013), JDK
1.6.0_45. I didn't check everything, but all the red badges that I was
previously seeing in the editor are away.

I just updated the download page with a link to Michael's site with more instructions.

I've had problems with it for Java 7, never tried with 6. Will test again with latest builds of everything and let everyone know

To be precise, that JDK 6 is the one reported by the IDE for running the
IDE itself; the project I've tried has been configured with JDK 1.7.0_17,
as it requires Java 7. I don't know whether the Lombok plugin problems,
with IDEA, are related with the former or the latter.
