"I am the working class" poster series--get involved!

Hi all,

We're looking for photos of people to be used in a new poster series called, "I am the working class." The series is intended to spread awareness that no, we do not live in a classless society (as many still believe), as well as demonstrating that "the working class" doesn't just mean poor, unskilled laborers, but rather, encompasses most of us.


So here's what we're looking for:
*A photo, waist-up or so, of a (willing!) member of the working class, preferably in their work attire and a suitable setting, looking at the camera and holding a sign (made out of whatever) reading, "I am the working class." Try to get as high-resolution and high-quality photo as you can, though I can touch them up in Photoshop.

*Various bits of information about the individual's situation, primarily but not necessarily totally focusing on economic and job-related info. What the person does for a living and how much they make at it are the only required pieces of information.


That's it! We want a good range of people, jobs and situations to really showcase the diversity of the working class as a whole.
