Hi all,

I've just pushed through a minor point release of Iris. It is a tiny release with the one single added functionality of using 4x the available CPU cores by default instead of relying on GOMAXPROCS. The reason for this change was that I'd like to make the official JVM API release on Monday and I thought that whilst Go people are used to setting GOMAXPROCS, others will probably be outraged by this requirement. Since I didn't want people trying out Iris to see a reduced performance because of an unset variable, I thought it better to use all the cores by default. I will probably move this into a command line flag at some point, but that will be done in a larger effort to reorganize the flags, so it has to wait till the next release.

Other than that, the currently distributed official binaries are based on Go 1.3.3 vs the old ones based on go 1.3.0. It probably doesn't make much of a difference, but it's always nice to keep pace with upstream packages :)

Cheers,
  Peter

PS: As always, the packages are at the official download page.
