A few words of warning.

1. This text is riddled with spelling errors. To my understanding, the
fixing of errors is a political minefield within the proofing
community. I understand the argument to translate the text faithfully
(word for word, error for error), but as the text is literally riddled
with them, (and partly because this is a translation of an original
work we're dealing with) I think it is our responsibility to fix
these. I'm aware that that is just my standpoint and I would stress
that any changes one makes to the original text should be marked with
a preceding '^^^'. To date I have been fixing genuine errors and
marking them with ^^^ so that the post-processor can make the final
call.

2. The OCR program had particular difficulty with commas and full
stops in this text, so be careful with those. The same for lowercase
'h' and 'b'.

3. Turpin's translator Cartwright had a disturbing penchant for
punctuating the end of sentences (the capitilisation of the following
word is often a big clue) as well as paragraphs with commas. Again I
would suggest proofers change these and mark them with the three hats
(until the post-processor--yep, that'd be Rikker :p-- tells you
otherwise).

OK that's all the advice I have for now. Please add yours below!
