The version of AutoCAD that I recently recieved is having issues on my
Vista computer, saying it can't support the 64 bit mode, and on the
XP, saying there is an OS error, and that it requires: "Windows NT
4.0, Windows NT 5.0, Windows 95 and Windows 98. As it is, it will not
start up the installshield and I can't find a way into the
program...if you know a way around this, holler, but I don't think
it's going to let me run it...

Andrew,

IN XP - Go to the START menu and the to APPLICATIONS and then to Program
Compatibility Wizard. This should let you emulate a Windows 2000 or Windows
98 environment for the program.

Let me know...

Okay, I got autocad up, but this is gonna take me a bit, it's an older
program than those I've worked with, and I've got to re-remember
everything I did for 2002, and I have to figure out how I can actually
make lines the distance I want them to be, both of the newer versions
have 2 ways that work really easy and this one doesnt seem to, so
yeah...

Should be okay, just give me the week to get everything figured out
and finished.
