One day workshop on "Regular Expression & Perl" on 25th May 2016 (Wednesday) @DCB

Dear all,

We are planning to conduct a one day workshop on "Regular Expression & Perl" on 25th May 2016 (Wednesday) and the inaugural ceremony is at 09.30 am. The event would be held at the Seminar Hall, Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. All are welcome to attend!

The workshop is aimed at covering a near exhaustive range of Regular Expressions with applications in Text processing, Spam email filtering, Bio-sequence processing etc, for the students of IT, Bioinformatics and Linguistics domains. 

As part of the workshop, we are planning to release a booklet also, on Perl Regular Expressions- "Reg(ular)?\/s? Ex(pressions)?- Learn by Doing”, compiled by the IT faculties at the Department. 

There will be a hands on session also, at the Informatics lab from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm on the same day. 

Please note that, for DCBians the Registration fee is Rs. 50/- and for outsiders it is Rs.100/-. 

MSc H need not pay, as they have the same topic in their syllabus.
