to Project 1619; book discussion

This has been a politicalization of history.  Not new or shocking.

I highly recommend you listen to or read chapter 6 on capitalism.

Personally l love the chapters on Sugar and Music, but not ignoring the depth and truthful history of our evolving Democracy.  What did our founders do for slave representation in our founding nation?  Was it 3/5th if a person for creating the southern slaves to give power to slave states rep. In the house?

Let’s first look at the economics of slavery i America ! “ the United States of America today stands as one of the most unequal societies in the history of the world”. Our construction was a recognized work in progress.  Watch PBS new seriesn benjuman Franklin if you do not like reading history .

Best regards,
Sarah R.
