TheGCam development community is pretty strong among Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones. The application has brought impressive results to many mid-range devices such as the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Mi A3. Two months ago, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 8 Pro, an impressive piece of technology with a powerful 64MP quad-camera array. Photography enthusiasts began to imagine the results that could be achieved by using GCam, but a barrier was before them.

Here are some photo samples that are available on the Redmi Note 8 Pro Official Photography Telegram group. On the left you can see pictures captured with the stock camera, while on the right there are the samples captured with Google Camera application.

The last 2 Photo samples are incorrect. Actually the stock one is from Redmi Note 8 (not pro) and doubt the other one is from note 8 pro.

Gcam biggest power is its night sight and we see no samples of this mode (the only one we really want to see).

Many Thanks. I works very well on my RN8Pro (miui 10.4.5 on Android 9). Really great pictures can be taken now. I just modified manually one more parameter to set the default size of the pictures to 64mp ! Pictures really great and post processing calcul done by gcam are really impressive and perfect.
