Our first guest is Sonali Kolhatkar, host and producer of the program "Uprising." It can be heard on KPFT Wednesdays at 6pm. Sonali will be speaking at a benefit for KPFT Friday night at St. Paul's Methodist Church. She will be talking about  social justice, citizen journalism, and budding a "Human Spring."

 

Next we have satirical singer song-writer Roy Zimmerman who writes funny songs about ignorance, war, greed and more. His latest CD is "You Are Getting Sleepy".

 We end with 2 talks on criminal justice given by Ana Yenez-Correa of the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition and Bob Libal with Grassroots Leadership. Recorded  on March 31st.  at the Civil Rights Coalition's First Annual Conference "Civil Rights In The 21st Century: Uniting Communities For Justice."
