Run the ING NYC Marathon with Team LinkEd! Are you passionate about education? Do you love to run (or know someone who does)? If so, LinkEducation is looking for you! Through a partnership with the New York Road Runners Community Charity program, LinkEducation (LinkEd) will provide five (5) runners with guaranteed entry into the ING New York City Marathon, an illustrious 26.2-mile event taking place across all five boroughs of New York City on Sunday, November 4, 2012.  Registration with Team LinkEd includes: Guaranteed entry into the 2012 ING New York City Marathon Inspirational pasta party before the marathon Team LinkEd racing T-shirt Assistance setting up a personalized donation website Fundraising tips for approaching potential supporters Recognition during the annual K-12 Education Expo If you're interested, read on for details about how to join -- but do so quickly as our team is limited to only five runners! Responsibilities Commitment to raise at least $2,500 for LinkEducation This is one of the lowest financial commitments of any charity partner! Responsibility for race registration fees, paid directly to New York Road Runners $11 processing fee (non-refundable), plus U.S. Residents: $216 entry fee for NYRR members or $255 for non-members Non-U.S. Residents (including Puerto Rico): $347 entry fee Requirement to provide credit card information as a personal guarantee Note: Your credit card information will only be charged the balance due if we have not received $2,500 in donations by Friday, November 2, 2012  Selection Process The selection process is quite simple. The whole thing is complete in three (3) steps: Download, complete, and return the LinkEd Marathon Application form Guaranteed entry slots will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis You will be notified of your status once your completed, signed application is reviewed.
