The Mayor's Public Engagement Unit (PEU) needs a campaign-oriented Deputy Comms Director who loves to tell positive stories in traditional and social media. We’re a 200-person outreach team that brings benefits and services to New Yorkers in need. Every day, we help people get housing, healthcare, food, and other resources. Think of us as a political field team, except instead of votes, we deliver government services.

Our next Deputy Comms Director will tell the stories of our amazing staff and the New Yorkers they serve. Ultimately, we aim to rebuild trust in effective government. Crafting positive, heartwarming stories is a big part of that.
