NRG Consulting Group is helping the Virginia Conservation Network hire a new Executive Director. The Virginia Conservation Network (VCN) is a partnership of  over 160 environmental organizations working together to protect Virginia’s natural resources. VCN builds capacity and long-term power for their partners and the movement through shared resources and training.

The Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors, will serve as a dynamic leader of the organization that can drive their mission and allow the organization to continue to grow and thrive. The VCN Executive Director acts as a chief strategist and facilitator for Virginia’s environmental community. In addition the role includes managing the 8-person staff team, acting as the primary fundraiser for the organization, serving as a spokesperson for Virginia’s environment, working with the VCN Board of Directors, and more. 

The successful candidate is a people-centered relationship builder who is passionate about protecting the environment and has at least 10-12 years of experience in non-profit, advocacy, and/or public policy experience. 

The role is based in Richmond, VA and the salary range is $115,000-$125,000 plus benefits.
