NRG Consulting Group is helping Open New York hire two Organizing Coordinators in Westchester and the Hudson Valley to join their team Open New York works to implement local and statewide policy changes that expand housing options for all New Yorkers.
The Organizing Coordinators, reporting to the Director of Organizing, will recruit and engage volunteers, organize events and trainings, and represent Open New York at civic and legislative gatherings.
The successful candidate has 3-5 years experience, ideally in a community engagement/community organizing capacity. They’ll bring strong interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to take initiative, and a demonstrated ability to rally a group from all different backgrounds around a set of goals. This is an onsite position, and the salary range is $65,000-75,000 plus benefits.
