Dadi Janki – 5th September 2016 Evening, Global Co-operation House, London
From where we were to where we are now
(Celebrating 25 years of Global Co-operation House (inaugurated on 5th September 1991)
(A video was shown, charting the construction of GCH and wealth and variety of activities and occasions held at GCH over the years. Dadi’s class included personal sharings from Sisters Alka, Jagruti, Joy, Kim, Hansa, Charu and Jasu and brothers Minesh and Matthew - and Dadi mentioned many more by name)
It is the wonder of Drama, the wonder of Baba and the wonder of Baba’s children! What do I know? Look where Baba has brought us from the days of Tennyson Road to this day… When we bought this land we didn’t even have one lakh of rupees. For ten years we had been having classes at Dudden Hill Community Centre. This Pound Lane was a bit of a grim road and we didn’t even like passing it. There was the derelict building opposite, that belonged to the gas board. Yet we saw this land and I wondered where the money was going to come from. This is the wonder of Drama and the wonder of Baba. How Drama has brought us all together is also a wonder. After we bought this land, we offered bhog every Thursday and Dadi would then give those working on the building toli. Today too we shall have toli. Listen to the Murli, eat toli and become holy…is this OK!
(One honest and sweet brother, who worked for Brent Council , was instrumental to help us get permissions for the building. In Bharat we had tried very hard to get permission for a board to say ‘Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University’. Yet here we were able to get the permission for this and we were all very happy we could put these words up on the Global House building).
We invited Dadi Prakashmani to come here and I asked Dadiji: ‘How come all these western-bodied children have come here?’ Dadiji responded that they are all going to come into the Golden Age and that is why they have come here. Seeing the double foreign children she gave them so much love.
It is like a dream to see where we were and where we are now. We see everything in a detached way. Baba is my Companion and I see the Drama as a detached observer. Baba has given me the understanding to be able to do this. ‘Who am I, and who is mine! Everyone’s finger goes to that One up above. Wonderful. Dadi is enjoying seeing everyone here sitting so peacefully.
We have many here who were with us at the time of GCH’s opening. Everyone is very sweet, lovely and honest. Opposite Global House there was a derelict building (now flats where some BK’s live) and it was at this time that Dadi started to live in Sukhdam as Global House was built and she watched it go up. Then Indraprasth opened and, later on, Diamond House. So who did this? Who created this game and then hid Himself away?
What can I say? Each one is so good. At the present time, in my heart, brain and vision what is there? I’m seeing the divine activities of Baba and how each one has taken spiritual birth and grown up. Throughout the whole world there is nowhere like Global House and Diamond House. This is Baba’s wonder and the divine game of God. Really wonderful. Everyone has an honest heart and so the Lord is pleased. When the child has courage then the Father helps. When the intention is pure then the desires are fulfilled. No one can say that ‘I did this’. Baba did it!
Dadi is very happy. Everyone sitting here is detached from the body and bodily relations. No-one has any attachment, attraction, subservience or conflict with anyone. Baba has taken such care of me and I have never had the thought: ‘How am I going to be fed or looked after?’. Baba is here for us. How is everything happening? It is guaranteed that we are going to come into the golden age. This is what I am feeling, seeing each one of you. I don’t think anyone has attraction or attachment, subservience or conflict in their relationships, do they? This is why you are multimillion times fortunate and applaud this. Everyone’s fortune is being created. Each one is a wonder, detached, loved by Baba and loving to all.
Raise your hands if you are happy!
