Hello Good Day my fellow Researchers

My name is Muhammad Sarmad Aidrus, currently pursuing my master's in Distributing Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
I am posting this message in order to inquire about any suggestions regarding a topic of my Master's Thesis. I am intrigued to about the concept of APR and its future challenges and would really appreciate it if someone could help me by proposing a topic that could also be an addition to the APR community.

Best Regards
Sarmad Aidrus

Hi Sarmad,

In a recent APR workshop (http://program-repair.org/workshop-2023/), there was a panel of program repair researchers that concluded that the key challenges APR faces right now are
1. Deployment
2. Human factors
3. Hallucinations (in relation to large language models)
4. Explainability

If you contribute to solving any of these problems, it will be very valuable.

Regards,
Sergey
