Tired of seeing all of those FreeBSD costumes hanging in the Halloween
stores and not having a party to wear it to? Anxious to wear your

Tiffany Rad is hosting a Defcon Halloween Party at 28MapleSt this Friday
(tomorrow.) It's for people who went in 2009 and those who are
interested in going in 2010, and for those who are generally interested
in the possibility of a hackerspace in Portland. It's a kind-of a
geek/computer theme costume party, so let your inner geek shine.

Nix that. So much geek power scared the proprietor. Something about
FBI raids and files on an unsecured network. We'll take our swarm
elsewhere, someplace with more beer.
