Second, while I have the latest updated version of OS on my iMac, my printer, Canon Prima MX870 series 2, does support duplex printing and I use it all the time for duplex printing my word documents I send to the printer, I cannot figure out how to duplex print my adobe reader PDF files or any PDF files for that matter. I have followed all instructions that I could find about how to turn it on, however none of the instructions work. I have clicked on "printer" and when my screen comes up it shows duplex printing "off" in light gray and I cannot change it to "on" and no where on my iMac screen does it show anything called "properties" which some other instructions tell me to click on.
The instructions worked in find the version of Adobe Reader I have; I found I have version 2015.010.20056, but I am not sure how this relates to the 10.3.1 that the instructions say. I thought that I had downloaded the most recent version but does the 010.20056 means I only have version 10.2 and need to down load a newer version to get duplex printing?
Sorry, I guess I have been working on this too long I meant that I have been told I need to have 10.1.3, not 10.3.1. But still nothing is working and the instructions about duplex printing do not help to turn on my duplex printing.
If you're on a Mac, About Acrobat Reader is not on the Help menu but on the app menu (the first one after the apple, with the name of the app). This should be the same for all apps, so it's easy to find once you know how.
2015.010.20056 is still pretty old (but much less old than 10.2). It came out almost 2 years ago. I suggest you check for updates, which you can do via Help > Check for Updates. This is supposed to be automatic, so it might tell you about a problem. Please let us know where you get to.
I did what you suggested, went to help and clicked on "check for up dates." It said that my Adobe Acrobat Reader is up to date. What do I now? What is wrong? You say I have an old version and it says I am up to date?
I don't like the new update of the PDF reader, I prefer the previous version which was simpler. It is annoying to have to use the magnifying glass to enlarge the page and then have the enlarge or reduce box appear next to the tab to download the page. I liked the previous version, I hope you update it and it's like before.
Thank you. I have found the new version to be way overboard "salesy." That's fine to give your users a path to purchase enhanced features, but when my productivity gets interrupted by your sales attempts, I start to get irritated. (Just sayin'.)
Sorry - this doesn't work. The app keeps restarting in the new and not-improved version. I really really hate it that the snapshot tool is gone in the new version, and there's no way to bring up the toolbars.
The new update is awful. Thank goodness there is still an option to return to the old version. Terrified they will remove that option one day and we'll be forced to use the "updated" version, which is just a worse version of the current one with the panes swapped and everything is harder to use. Adobe, please don't do it!
This is the second version. I recorded this version because I'd been doing it live and had come up with a lot of new material that I felt should be included. I recorded this one with the Assistance of Michael Crow in Austin Tx at his studio, Industrial Oaks.
You need Windows 7 or later to run Acrobat Reader. If your operating system is older,
you can install an earlier version of Acrobat Reader. For step-by-step instructions, see Install an older version of Adobe Reader Windows.
Acrobat Reader installation is a two-part process: The installer is downloaded, and then Acrobat Reader is installed. Be sure to wait until both parts are complete. A progress bar displays the time remaining.
To see if other users are experiencing similar download and installation problems, visit the Acrobat Reader user forum. Try posting your problem on the forums for interactive troubleshooting. When posting on forums, include your operating system and product version number.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is free desktop software developed by Adobe, a private software company. Adobe continuously provides new versions of the application to include product and/or security updates, so Adobe strongly recommends using the latest versions.
Note: Grants.gov may not be able to fully test the most recent version(s). Users are urged to verify their Adobe Acrobat Reader software's compatibility by using the test Workspace PDF form link above.
Adobe Acrobat Standard/Professional (Version 10 or later) may be used in place of Adobe Acrobat Reader when completing Workspace PDF forms on Grants.gov. However, only the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software is needed.
If you receive a security message when trying to download a new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, your computer's settings may not permit you to download and install new software. For help with such an issue, you should contact your network administrator.

After upgrading my Mac desktop OS to Monterey V. 12.01, my (free) Adobe Reader (32bit) won't work. Which adobe product works with Monterey? How do I find/download it because I can't open existing adobe reader app to get an update.
I am on macOS Monterey 12.2.1 and having the same issue. I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC twice and it still says this even after closing and restarting my browser. It says installation complete after opening the download and running through the prompts but this is still happening. How is preview suppose to help in this situation? Also, how do you add signatures to preview?
Thanks. I tried the link. Version 12 doesn't appear in scroll down menu to select Mac operating system for correct Reader download, only lower versions. Does that mean Adobe hasn't developed an upgrade of the Reader yet for Monterey OS? What have other Monterey OS users tried?
I'm having the same problem as Lookingforsolutions2. I believe this is the scroll list they are referring to: There is no option beyond 0S 11.X. What's weird is that the page gives a message that my system is 10.14-11x. I've changed everything to open with Preview. Will see how this works with Thunderbird when I want to save an email as a pdf.
When you specify a target version of Acrobat and Adobe Reader, you must ensure that you have the correct version of Acrobat installedthat matches the target version saved; otherwise, you may get anerror or warning message when you click the Preview PDF tab. Thetarget version you select is also displayed at the bottom of theSave As dialog box when you save a form.
The preview will use the same format as the saved form. You canright-click the Preview PDF tab to see which format is currentlyselected. To indicate the format of an unsaved form, you must changethe Tools > Options > Document Handling > Default FileType For New setting.
Once you've figured out the library causing the issue, keep downgrading the library by explicitly specifying the version in Podfile, until the project archives successfully. And then you can use that version of the library to archive and upload to the app store.
If you are using lib or pod that mean that one of them built by a higher version of your current Xcode, you can either update your code or return back to the previous version where the pods were built by your current version. If you ran pod update check the pods updated if you ran pod install check the dates of the pods comparing to the release date of your Xcode that will will lead you to the responsible pod.
I also faced this error: Invalid bitcode version (Producer: '800.0.24.1_0' Reader: '703.0.31_0') I have googling so many but unable to find the proper solution. I tried Myself and solved this probableIn my case this error occurs after adding FBSDK by drag and drop that we all usually do.
You can resolve this problem by following these steps:
Bitcode is an intermediate representation of a compiled program. Apps you upload to iTunes Connect that contain bitcode will be compiled and linked on the App Store. Including bitcode will allow Apple to re-optimize your app binary in the future without the need to submit a new version of your app to the store.
Note: For iOS apps, bitcode is the default, but optional. If youprovide bitcode, all apps and frameworks in the app bundle need toinclude bitcode. For watchOS apps, bitcode is required
