You can create a segment without the use of a T1 or T0
The T1 or T0 is needed if you need routing between the segments.
You can connect segments to a T0 (tier-0). A T0 has the possibility to connect your virtual environment to the outside world. (static, bgp or ospf in the latest nsx-t release)
backup node file [passphrase ] Create a backup of an NSX KeyManager node.If you do not provide a passphrase on the command line, youwill be prompted to enter one. The passphrase is used to encryptthe backup. If you forget the passphrase, you will not be ableto restore the backup.Important: This backup command is one part of the backupprocess.
