Inthe face of unrelenting demand, broadband providers are constantly in need of ways to optimize, improve and upgrade networks. More capacity, faster speeds, streamlined costs, and innovative services are needed to keep customers loyal and keep you ahead of the competition.

But as technology innovation cycles accelerate, it can be hard to keep up, let alone stay ahead. How are you transforming your network for next-generation services? How are you evaluating the right technology mix for your next deployment? Where and when should you be applying virtualization and AI/ML in your network operations? Are you working on network optimization?

The virtuous circle of introducing new technologies, running and optimizing the current network, migrating and phasing out legacy networks, is no easy task. It has become essential to partner with a technology services provider with the experience in each of these areas to complement your own in-house capabilities and expertise.

Our professional services portfolio for communication service providers (CSPs) simplifies the process of introducing new technologies and products, turning them quickly into revenue-generating services.

Patented business and technology modeling tools help you build viable and accurate business cases, with the right technology and strategy to move to Gigabit and software-defined access. I have several Wyze cameras including 2 version 1 Cam Pans, and 3 Wyze Outdoor cameras.

I was having no success on getting several of them to connect to the network and the camera server. I spent tons of time on the phone with Wyze support and no solution came about.

Its always been easier and we have encouraged people here to re-use the same SSID/network name and password as their old router when they are upgrading. Because you avoid having to change each device and often go through the setup to change the SSID and password on every device you are reconnecting.

Anyway, thanks for the confirmation that this worked for you. It has long been one of the tips given for problem installs. It really has to do with the router though. I have never had any install issues with any of my routers with a dual band, single SSID network and my phone connected to 5GHz. If it is a split SSID network, however, it is an absolute requirement to log into the 2.4GHz with your phone.

As with most IoT devices, they do not have the 5 ghz radio (hardware) that is necessary to connect using 5 ghz frequency to a 5 ghz radio on the router. They are not designed to connect at 5 ghz. Its not a software/firmware issue, the hardware does not exist in the devices.

Basically lack of support for this problem from either network providers or Sony itself, just prefer to pretend the problem isn't there and let people talk about a none existing fault on here. I will never buy Sony products again feel completely let down by the big greedy company. Ps phone always one bar uses data like popcorn. Loading numerous times because of failure

Hi! Sony is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My xperia z1 compact loosing signal all the time. If it has signal it is very low that you cannot even talk. My friend had the same problem with xperia M. We won't buy Sony phones again. Never!!!

i had the same problem but i found a fix. by default (at least on my phone,) the prefered network is LTE so go into settings, mobile networks, prefered network type then tap on the bullet that says WCDMA (preferred) GSM. this was the best for me but maybe one of the others will be better for you but you will see your signal metre change when you press a bullet.

Same issue here, Sony xperia XZ2 Compact Dual SIM. My wife on same network with iPhone8 has 4to5 bars, me zero. And yes it is also on O2 (in Germany), which I don't think is using a different technology compared to the others, just the coverage / signal strength is kind of miserable outside of the city. I know that the iPhone has no dual sim, still the difference is huge. In the settings the LTE is set as preferred, but the rest are also there, so the phone should switch automatically to a lower standard in case there is no signal or if the signal is very poor on LTE.

I don't know how serious Sony is taking this issue, but I got this phone because it has dual sim, but if I anyway cannot be reached on one of the SIMs, then I might not consider the brand next time... Still I do love my phone despite this "small" issue. We however might get "divorced" if the situation will not improve. I will post again if the situation will get worst again.

Switched to manual Choose Network selection and tried choosing the 2G home network which seemed good level, but it kept dropping out and was just as bad as Auto. I then chose the 3G version of my home network operator. This seems to be much better, even though on checking in the manual selection section it often shows as 4G Home network connected, the signal strength is generally much better.

If you do not (and cannot) get any connectivity to the Rogers wireless network, then you will need to contact tech support for assistance. If your gateway will not connect to the Rogers network and your service is down, then Rogers should not be charging you for your service. If Rogers cannot get your service working, then they should allow you to change or cancel your service.

As for the speeds, you're getting the speeds you're subscribed to. Our 5G Home Internet Essential has speeds up to 25Mbps and 5G Home Internet Premium has speeds up to 50Mbps. There would be no setting you could change to increase your speeds.

We'd be happy to take a closer look to see what is going on! Feel free to send a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, you can find out more here.

Check out the new 5G gateways that rogers is offering. I just got mine and shot the video above while driving in southern Ontario. The internet was more stable than my rocket hub, and in the populated areas I was getting 5G connections, and rural I believe it down negotiated to 4LTE which is all the rocket hub can do to begin with.

The best part is that the first 500GB, yes you read that right, half a terabyte, is @50Mbps/20Mbps beyond 500GB its throttled to 10Mbps/4Mbps. I can't think of a time when I used 500GB on my Rocket Hub, but than again, I am not Richie Rich. Sure its not 1Gbps, but its still mobile internet and 50Mbps is more than livable while in the car, boat or on the go.

I was able to watch youtube for a whole 1 hour drive without a single service disruption, on the Rocket Hub I would usually get 2 or 3 in that same time. The only problem is that the Gateway is a little bulky, but not by much and as long as you have an inverter in car not a problem to switch it on. You can buy one at Canadian Tire or Ebay for 50 bucks... however, it is a 12V device, so it has an adapter to go into AC at home, that adapter is not needed for car, you can probably find a 12V cigarette lighter plug and have it running, or make your own batter pack out of some 18650 and 12V bms.

That sounds strange, I was in areas with one light, and the 5G turned off... so I assumed it was in 4LTE mode. I would see if you can get them to swap the gateway unit, because it sounds like it may be faulty. LTE is still very fast there is no reason why your page should be not loading or loading so slow.

I still have more testing to do, and I am sure there are some areas where the signal may be non existent or bad. There may also be ways to increase the signal by adding some sort of reflecting surface, or keeping away from metalic cages and obstruction points... for instance if you find that you can get the best signal on one corner of your proptery, maybe you should investigate and see if you can run a lan cable and power to that spot and build a box or something for the unit. I am just pulling stuff out of thin air here trying to help.
