Dear Colleagues
You are receiving this email if you attended the ICMI Symposium on Mathematics Education and the Socio-Ecological, in March 2023, and if you indicated you would be happy to receive occasional emails. We include two invitations, below.
1) We are writing to encourage you to consider participating in the 27th ICMI Study (with the same name as the Symposium). We hope you might consider sending in some writing – please see the attached Discussion Document, including an important Addendum at the start. In particular, we want to highlight the IPC’s commitment to creating a range of opportunities for contribution and participation, that will give visibility to the diversity of current work relevant to the topic, towards building knowledge. We thus encourage interested colleagues to submit papers for consideration for the Study, even if they may not be able to, as yet, commit to attending the Study Conference in January 2025, e.g., for financial reasons. Further details, including where you can submit writing, are here: https://icmistudy27.sciencesconf.org
The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2024.
2) If you are interested in…
