Anyoneknow if there is a way to re-enter Create a Sim mode to re-sculpt a sim? I know you can edit topical things like hairstyle, but I mean to go back and fully re-vamp a sim. I'm not happy with how one of mine turned out.
In the new patch testingcheats for some reason doesn't work, but I found this (sort of) alternative This doesn't work so nicely for sims you've already happily playing but you can also do the following:
1.Ensure family is out of world and go onto the household management tab.2. Click your family and click the "edit" pencil3. On CAS click "new sim" then "play with genetics"4. Change relation to "sibling" then select "randomise twin"This creates an identical, new, fully editable sim, although hair/facial hair, clothes, aspirations and traits would need to be put back in
If you go to a dresser ( if you don't have one, you'll have to buy one) click it, and then it should pop up some options. One of them is " Plan outfits" click that one and it should bring you to Create a Sim Again!!
I know this works because I edited the Landgraab family. The daddyaged up, I didn't want him to so I used this method to make him anadult again and his wife a young adult since he obviously was wayolder than she.
I also did this on one of my sims who was grossly deformed when heturned a teen. His upper body was maxed out to muscles, his legs alsobut his pelvis and buttock area looked like a kid's.So of course Dr vejai2 had to come to the rescue and now he's perfect symetry!
Even after nearly a decade since its release, The Sims 4 still boasts a massive following, primarily because of the unrivaled control it gives players over their Sims' lives. In addition, new mods and expansion packs keep the players hooked on the gameplay. These add-ons allow players to explore new features for their Sims.
Needless to say, players can create as many Sims as they want to in the CAS (Create a Sim) mode. From creating Sims to choosing their lifestyles, players can shape every aspect of their lives in The Sims 4. However, if players need to make any changes, they can effortlessly do so with a few simple steps covered in this article.
Players can use multiple methods to edit their Sims in the game. Conventional methods are suitable for those players who don't mind putting in some effort, and those who want to play more flexibly and take the legwork out of the equation can even opt for cheats. Let's take a look at both methods.
More than a life simulation, The Sims 4 is your empty canvas for creativity. The game allows players to create multiple Sims with different appearances and traits, with the possibility of adjusting almost every aspect of these characters' faces and bodies.
The ability to shape body forms, modify heights with a gentle touch, and even toy with facial hair, sets the stage for an infinite playground of possibilities. As you progress through the game, you will become an architect of dreams, designing Sims' hairstyles, clothing, makeup, and general aesthetics. However, over time, you might feel the need to change the way they look. So you don't need to worry, here's your guide to learn how to do it.
Just head over to a mirror or dresser and pick the options Change Sim to swap between the outfits you previously made or Plan Outfits option to take you to CAS mode, but a limited version.
By default, this full editing mode is only available while creating a whole new Sim from scratch, meaning that it won't be possible to access CAS mode after you created and started playing with a Sim.
However, there's always a way, and this case is not the exception. You can use cheats in any device to enter CAS mode and change whatever it is you don't like about your Sims appearance anymore.
In the Sims 4, you can find a huge diverse range of clothes, but it seems that work outfits are the exception for this. Usually, Sims get different outfits with promotions, but this can be a lot of work and effort and often the upgrade wasn't worth it, so using cheats is once again the best approach. Here's how to edit work outfits:
I know this had been asked so many times, but how to do it? I have not log in for a long time and there used to be an option to chat with EA advisor but now only call. I'm not comfortable in calling by phone. So, is there any other way? Please help. Thanks.
@BochaBaim You can change you user name by opening Origin - click Origin in the upper left - click EA account and billing.. - next to basic information click edit - answer security question - first item on top is ID - after you change it click save on the bottom.
Although it usually works as @roberta591 explains for newer games, in this case changing the name in Origin doesn't change it on
thesims3.com. You will need to ask one of our advisors, they might be able to change it for you.
My username on theSims3.Com is my full real name, which is pretty stupid but I was about aged 12 (Now nearly 17) when I made the username, so I was lacking common sense as you could say. I was wondering, for privacy and safety reasons if I could get it changed? It didn't bother me before because I was hardly on the site, but now I'm on it quite alot and I almost feel embarassed and scared to comment on forum posts just putting my full name out there.. I don't know. I just wanna know due to privacy issues, if it's possible to change the username to the same as this maybe.
Once a user name is created it is like a US social security number. This issue needs to be addressed by a game consultant. You can get help at
help.ea.com and click contact us on the right. Follow the prompts until you reach a page that has live chat and call back. Call back is only available in the US and normal hours.
Changing your username/ID on the EA website does change it for EA but not The Sims 3 website. They are only linked together; not one in the same. Unfortunately, I have tried for a few years to change mine on The Sims 3 but it have not found a way to do so.
I have the same issue. Only, luckily, it's not my FULL name. I went through the EA help at
help.ea.com.
In fact, the employee said, "I would need to inform you to post on forums regarding update for this."
So, as of right now, we physically cannot change our usernames on the Sims Community.
I made a sim with the new patch, and stupidly, I made my sims while my computer was mute. I made a trans-girl, and since I couldn't hear the game, I forgot to edit the voices. So my trans-girl sounds like a beefy guy, and its weird. I went into CAS and it says something like, "You cannot change the voice of a pre-existing sim." And I cant find out how to change it. Thanks!
There are two ways, click "Ctrl alt c"land then type in the bar testingcheats true, once you do this, type in cas.fulleditmode and then it will take you to editing, once you do this, there will be a bird, candy, horn, fire, and all that you click on one and it changes the voice.the bar under it with the circle is so you can change the pitch.hope I helped!
you will need to use testingcheats on before cas.fulleditmode. then shift+click on a Sim or use the mirror to change in CAS. this is the way to edit a pre-existing Sim's weight and muscle tone. you said it was changed, though, how did you do it before?
@unseenlarkswell before I could do it just by pulling the arrows around the waist in and out like when you are making a new sims. I have no problems with it if it is a new sim. And as this is a third generation sim, I used it on her dad when he grow up, without problems, but I can't do it on her and her twin for some reason...
@mrsmisser--i see, that is a more 'localised' change. those arrows work to give your Sim a more narrow or wide 'area' (stomach/belly, waist, backside, thighs, etc.). the sliders we were referring to above are what change body weight specifically, not just modify body area size. after you enter both cheats, go into CAS and click on the Sim you want to change, you should see the sliders appear on the left side of the screen.
PLEASE NOTE: This only changes the location of the school event. It is not currently possible to change the location of the festivals - those will always take place in the open area behind the original lot.
I I imagine I have to reboot the router with the new sim but I was left with no manual or instructions. Can you tell me what I need to do each time I change SIM cards as I move the boat accross Europe ?
Not sure which model are you referring to. Anyway, all Max routers came with 2 SIM slots (A and B). If you are using Max BR1, you can insert both SIM cards (Vodafone and Tim) into SIM slot A and B (e.g. Vodafone in SIM A and Tim in SIM B). If your boat within the coverage of Vodafone, SIM A will be using. If your boat within the coverage of Tim, connection will failover from SIM A to B automatically.
I've got a new phone for one of my lines, and I've swapped out the sims to keep the newest phones. Everything works fine for calling, messaging, etc., but I need to swap the imei numbers associated with the phone numbers. Is there an easy way to do this?
I swapped my sim into a new phone about a month ago. The Xfinity mobile app continued to show my old device but the new phone (Pixel 5) works fine. About a week ago I got a notification in the app stating that it looked like I was using the sim in a different device and asked if I wanted to change to the new device. When I said yes, it associated the sim with my new phone. The app continues to show my original phone when I select the tab for devices. When I tap on the icon for my old phone, I get a message indicating that the sim is paired with a different device (my new Pixel 5). When I select the new device it shows the new phone and the correct imei number. I'm not sure why Xfinity continues to show the original device and I don't know if there's a way to change that.
