ProfitPy Installation instructions for Ubuntu 10.10

Hello,

To test out profitpy I installed it on a clean ubuntu 10.10 installation running on a virtual machine.   The link below is to a doc with repeatable step by step instructions I put together to get it installed and running.  This may not work for other distributions, but it may help people get through certain quirks that I didn't expect.

I'm curious, how many people out there use profitpy as their trading platform?  When firing this up, I assumed I could use it to back test strategies and have it automate a strategy for my trading, but after playing around with it for a while, I'm not so sure that the program supports either of these features.

Am I missing something? is anyone using profitpy to do this?
