Dear fellow playful Profs

I hope you are all on holiday, basking in the sun/garden/doing something else to restore you, and not slaving over a hot email.

Having been lucky enough to speak at both Playposia on my study of the use and value of play in HE I thought you might be interested in having a copy of my new book. It's completely free and I don't profit commercially in any way - that was part of the funding deal. Which is fine by me, as more than anything I want to be able to share what I have found.

Wow! What a wonderful resource. This is monumental. Epic. One for the ages. And so much fun!

I only wish it came out at the beginning of summer so I could have taken it to the beach with me. Well, I guess I will have shove some of this proper work to the side so I can play at learning more about play.

Thanks for sharing this with us. And congratulations one producing this critical play tome!
