Hi All, Happy Sunday and wishing you for the rest of your week!
We're reaching out with, what DrĀ Sequoyah WhartonĀ and I hold as a precious project of oursābut we need your help to make it truly impactful! And we're so grateful to David for allowing us the green light to ask for help with the Professors at Play community
Weāve hit a bit of a roadblock- with our Call for Chapter Abstracts- in reaching some of the brilliant, yet often overlooked, educators who are exploring play in our marginalized and minority ethnic communities, or in developing nations. That's where you come in.
Weāre thrilled to share our upcoming book, āThe Play Advantage: Unleashing Playfulness in Higher Educationā (supported by Routledge). This volume aims to shine a light on the power of play to transform learning, especially by showcasing voices and practices from the Global South and Western indigenous communities.
Weād love for you to consider contributing your own abstract (300-500 words), if working in this space- or to help us spread the word. If you know someone in your network who is pioneering playful learning approaches, in or with such groups of learners, please share our call for abstracts with them.
š Call for Abstracts Deadline: November 25th, 2024

Please work together with us to amplify these critical voices and make playful learning in HE a global conversation!
Warmly,
Sequoyah & Ed
