A reason your using Zone Alarm. I have not used that since around 2004. Since Kaspersky is banned in the US and ZoneAlarm uses licensed antivirus technologies from Kaspersky Lab I wonder what will happen.
Why not use something like Windows Defender as it is free and can stick and run Malwarebytes to run along side it -to-run-malwarebytes-alongside-another-antivirus/ since different technologies just have to stop them from scanning each other. NOTE : Malwarebytes is now a full fledged A/V program as well so have to turn off as per instructions in URL.
I like Zone Alarm, and especially it is very convenient to block and unblock ingoing and outgoing flow in their very easy to understand menu. The only thing I did not like is that ZA auto-disables Windows AV, and that is the only reason that I don't use it. Other than that I think it is a great firewall.
