Metaprodigal

Hi,

May i know if Metaprodigal is using the existing Prodigal2.60 (-p meta) or there will be another version of standalone Metaprodigal

I just found out about this and am quite excited to see how it works

Yes, MetaProdigal is the same as Prodigal 2.60.  One of the reviewers wanted us to give the metagenomic version of Prodigal its own name and identity, so we called it MetaProdigal in the publication, but it's just the "2.x" portion of Prodigal.  We have no plans to separate out the metagenomic portion from the existing code at this time.
