Prodigal Amino Acid sequence

Dear Prodigal community,

Hello! I have a question regarding to the Prodigal AA sequences. I was wondering if they are the direct translate from the NTs using the standard code and first reading frame.

The reason I asked is because I tried to cluster the NTs from multiple files, however, in that job, I accidentally lost the ID info in the header of fasta file. As a result, I cannot link the resulting NTs sequences back to their AA seqs. Because my fasta file is too big (6.8G). It will take me days to redo the clustering. I was wondering if I could directly translate the resulting NT sequence to AA sequence.
