Hi

Prodigal 2.6.1 give some identical gene and proteins ID's

Example when contig9_x is finished, it does not start at 10 (even if this is the right contig name) but back on contig1_x. Same for 100 -> 1 and 200 -> 2 etc

I am unable to reproduce this bug.  It likely has something to do with the input sequence, so I would need to see it to figure out if there's a problem.

(Also relevant is what OS you're using, etc., which is why creating an issue at the github page is better for bug reports:  https://github.com/hyattpd/Prodigal/issues )
