Let's not even start with the fact that Warcraft 3 reforged seemed to have sold relatively well given its state, so it's very likely that this dev time more than pays for itself and has nothing to do with WoW.

It's not just WoW money, there's income from all of the other games. Besides, it's not like your money is being used very well with WoW considering it has been garbage for years now. Imagine still paying a monthly sub for gaming LOL.

Alot of people do actually, specially the custom campaign Comminity, since thatw as going on for years after wc3 ended. Im looking forward to alot of my fave campaigns being playable through wc3r instead ofhaving to jump through hoops to get a previous version o play them

The sad thing is this is 100% correct. There was an interview or something some time back with a dev who worked on it and he said they knew how incomplete and awful it was, but they were forced to release it. Management knew how godawful it was, and they didn't care. They only cared it was out there to be bought.

That's the thing, management and officers are the ones calling the shots. The classic games team is fairly small, and a lot of the art was outsourced. This was also the biggest undertaking that team had yet, having to both remaster the game and add significant new content.

The rank and file devs are not enemies of the community.
