CC Fest West in LA, Saturday, Sept 23

Hello all,

I have started to plan a West Coast version of Creative Coding Fest, which we held in NYC in October 2016, and April 2017. It was a day of creative coding for teachers and students. You can read more here and here.  There is a team of us, a couple of CS teachers and a couple of people from Processing Foundation, and if you are in the area and want to help out let me know. We are looking at Saturday, September 23 as the date for the event.

Update for you all. We have a location - UCLA at the Broad Art Center, at the School of Arts and Architecture. If you are in the area please join us. We are looking for volunteers and public school teachers and students.

Lauren McCarthy, the creator of p5.js, will be giving the keynote address in the morning! There will be sessions from a talented group of educators for all experience level. The event is free, with lunch included, and accessible by public transit.
