Hi Y'all!

We need participants to create levels for the puzzle game 'Baba is You' using an AI assisted tool. We are testing the efficacy of mixed-initiative collaborative systems on game design. If you have any interest in puzzle games, level editors, or collaborative online games with custom made levels (such as Super Mario Maker, LittleBigPlanet, or FreeRider) we would greatly value your input and feedback for this system.

The study will take approximately 30-60 minutes of time to spend playing a community-made level, creating a new level with assistance from an AI tool, and completing a survey (plus any additional time you spend to get familiar with the game 'Baba is You' if you've never played it before). The first 100 people who complete the tasks given and the survey will be compensated with a $10 Amazon gift card. If you’re interested, please go to this link: http://equius.gil.engineering.nyu.edu/userStudy.php

This experiment and all of the resources needed will be done online. The site is publicly available online, however we will provide you with an anonymous user ID and login information to use on the site to maintain confidentiality of the levels you create. An NYU email is NOT required to participate in the study!

Feel free to also ask any questions you have about the experiment. You can reach me, M Charity, at mlc...@nyu.edu.

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

We still need more participants, so it would be great if some of you
could do this study. It's fun and educational. At least for us.

Also, there's still money in the pot, so you can still get an Amazon
gift card. Ten dollars! That's almost enough to buy a copy of "Playing
Smart" by Julian Togelius. For example.

Please?

Thanks in advance for participating,
Julian
