I was sitting on it for a while as Unexplored 2 was still under wraps, but I am happy I can share this stuff now that we finally announced.

This is great stuff Joris!
I did something similar in The Light Keeps Us Safe. i needed a grid because i used it initially for pathfnding to guarantee connectivity and roads etc, 
but then used it to feed a shaken voronoi grid in a similar way. The altitude/biome specific wobbles is a great idea though!
