Hi Yves and group.

I am using the PRM with one site and have 5 nodes and it works grate.

Here is my question:

I am adding a new site that i would like to be my DR, is there a way to configure the other cluster(on site B) to only sync up with the the cluster in site A without failing over automatically (no booth and all of the configuration)? so it my master node on site A fails the nodes on site B will move to the new master on site A.
I would like to save myself all the arbitrator. ssh . more VIPS, etc...

I would like to fail over manually(application fail over to site B).

10x
Alon.

OK, a spin-of of the org question, i would like the arbitrator to work but not fail over until i will "boot client grant", is this possible ?

Hi Alon,
sorry for the delay, I have in vacations.  I think the best way to achieve this would be to use a post-promote script so that the new master reconfigure the remote slave after promotion.

Regards,

Yves

Hi,
this can be done rather easily by adding an attribute to force manual failover, a bit like here:

https://github.com/percona/percona-pacemaker-agents/blob/master/doc/PRM-setup-guide.rst#preventing-failback

Do not hesitate if you have any questions.

Regards,

Yves
