Hi Raul,
the MySQL part is easy but the shared memory part is difficult to make HA. I don't know any solution that does that.  Maybe DRBD could be used over /dev/shm but you would need to map a file.

Yves

I was thinking in to make a copy of the shared memory or a replication to the other node. because the app who used the shared memory can be initialized with a script so i can to add like a resourse in pacemaker and when this app init, needs the database and the shared memory i suppose. So my problem is that in the other server( the slave) i have the shared memory to but it is outdate because the admins only writes in the master. Help me please the high avaiability is a new concept for me because i am a student. and i need this solution for used in a industry where i am a intern. thanks you from venezuela.

Another Question. I do not even configured corosync and pacemaker. the only thing I have is the simple replication of
a master to a slave. this is the correct configuration before configuring the cluster? or to use Percona resource manager
requires the master master replication? I say to promote the new master. The management of failover.
And return the system to its original state. how to configure my mysql replication? thanks friend.

Hi,
yes, you do need a working replication setup before you start with the clustering.

Yves
