Hi,

I am Vasishta pursuing Information systems at BITS Pilani - Pilani campus. I'm in my 3rd year and have a good deal of experience on developing android apps. I have assisted my senior on the E-attend project of bits pilani . and currently working as an android developer for a start up that will be launched in a few days time.

The link to the E - attend project is given here .

The app has'nt been updated lately because the updates in the app are communicated to different campuses using the campus servers.

I have previously worked on app that enables users to file a complaint in a police station from a mobile phone . Photos , video and audio can be attached with the complaint and sent to the server. workin in this app and in e-attend has given me some experience in communication details between 2 devices . I am looking forward to contribute towards this project

I have downloaded the zip file from github and i have tried to import the code into eclipse , But i am not able to as no projects are being shown inside the src folder.

Please guide me inresolving the issue.

Thanks.
Vasishta.

Hey Vasishta,

We recently dropped support for eclipse as it was getting difficult maintaining two different versions which supported eclipse and android studio. Gradle is generally much easier to use, handles dependencies better.

If you shift to android studio, you'll be able to import the project easily.

Hey Vasishta,

Welcome!

I _think_ this went out on the general list. Please ensure you are
