Hello lovely New Yorkers turning abandoned private land into bounty! 

It was great to see some of you this weekend on a ride to visit some gardens at immediate risk of being lost to private development (Details about the gardens we visited are here: http://596acres.org/en/news/2015/04/13/for-immediate-release-new-yorks-ride-bikes-to-connect-gardens-under-threat/; pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.800720853297682.1073741854.212988388737601&type=1). We're working on getting more gardeners from those gardens to join and use this google group to connect with one another. 

You might also be energized by attending an event with the New York City Community Garden Coalition tomorrow night. It would be a great opportunity to share some of your stories with other gardeners and expand the network of support for saving our crucial community spaces. There are even a few free tickets - contact Rene below.

I have an opportunity to share a few comp’ed tickets with you for the NYCCGC fundraiser tomorrow night. 

These were purchased by a donor that saw the value in supporting the attendance of those who are most impacted by community gardens and those at risk in losing them
