Does email or text alarms work with "WIFI Temperature Sensors - Internet Of Things (IOT)"?

Yes email is supported. You set up your email address on the server and then a rule to send alerts. You don’t need to set up smtp details for the wifi devices. Text messages are supported on the high availability server.

Firstly check the version of the firmware must be 1.9.8 or higher:


Secondly note that a rule will only trigger once (to stop repeated triggers for same event). So your rules of -100 and +100 will trigger once and then the temperature would need to go below -100 or above 100 for it to reset.

I put a rule  if Bond Room (temperature) sensor value is between -100 and 100 then email with 4 business email addresses. The room is between 65-75... with no emails.what am i doing wrong?
