Hi,

I'm looking at having multiple wireless water presence sensors, but I wanted to confirm what it takes to build each presence sensor. From what I understand right now, each sensor requires a water sensor, a wireless switch, and a wireless sensor case kit. Is that correct? The wireless base station and Slice of Pi breakout board would only be required for the Rasberry Pi itself from what I see as well.

Thanks

We've simplified it with our new water sensor kit that includes the water sensor the RF module and the case all in one. The water sensor transmits signals to the Raspberry Pi which has the Slice Of Pi and Base Station Receiver.

Gadjet Nut,
This looks like a great device but one of the questions of the original poster is the same one I have.  Can you have multiple wireless water sensors communicating with one raspberry PI with RF receiver?  I have a basement with 3 areas I'd like to cover.

Hi Paul,

You can have unlimited wireless sensors communicating to a single Raspberry Pi. Each wireless sensor has its own unique ID.

Hope that helps
