Hello,
I have been using the WIFI temperature sensor for about two months and it  has been working great!

Going to the PrivateEyePi.com web page, I have been able to check on the temperature in my Father-in-law's apartment across town to make sure he's not roasting himself alive... or I could, until last Wednesday. For reasons unknown, when I go to the website now, the only reading it shows is date stamped "Wednesday, 5th January 2022" with no new readings reported.

I have checked the power on the WIFI unit and it is powered up. I can also ping it. How can I tell where the data loss is happening? On the transmitting side, or on the receiving side? The number associated with my sensor is 122157.

Any help trouble shooting this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack

Not sure what the issue is. I checked with my WiFi Sensor and the server is working.
The last entry in the log for you account is on Jan 5 at 18:04 GMT.
Did you check the sensor settings, maybe a parameter got changed.
Did you power cycle it, if it got confused with WiFi issues it might not have reconnected correctly.

Thanks Glenn!
I appreciate you letting me know that the server is working for you.

After I set this up in November, I haven't touched it - so it would be a big surprise if any parameters got changed.
I will do a power cycle tomorrow (Sunday) and let you know the results.
Thanks again,
Jack

Does it say ‘PEP Connected’ on the Wifi device config page? Try updating the token. Perhaps a new token was created on Jan 5?

Thanks Glen and gadj!
I had to do a power cycle twice, but it is now back on-line.... Hooray!
Thanks again,
Jack
