Ok, after I ordered parts of home alarm system project I realized sensors are wired and I want convert door contacts (2), motion sensor to wireless.

I am novice this is my first hardware project (I know little bit of software):
1) Looking for guidance on parts needed, software to make these sensors wireless.
2) Looking for guidance on how I can attach wireless camera so camera moves in the direction of motion and I can see it on my smartphone

That's Thanks. I will order wireless sensors and kit but leave camera.

It would be awesome project: wireless camera powered by battery, connects with raspberry pi over wireless & only switches on when there is motion or user sends "on" signal from his phone.

This kit will get you started for 1 wireless switch:

Then add more switches with these two:

Follow this build tutorial:

Your second project is a bit more advanced. You could use our surveillance tutorial that shows you how to install a video camera using a webcam or a Raspberry Pi camera that you can view from a smartphone or browser.

Rotating the camera to where motion is coming from is very difficult. I'd recommend you use multiple distance sensors around your camera housing. Something like this:

or

Using multiple distance sensors around the camera you can detect where a person is standing. Then use a stepper motor to rotate the camera to the position of the distance sensor.

Nice project, but as I said, quite complex.
