My wireless switch is working with 3V CR2032 battery and according to what I’ve read this will (depending on the amount of times the door is opening/closing) last for roughly a month.

I’ve bought “3V battery power supply - 2 x AA Battery Holder” and would like to connect this to the “Wireless Switch – NEW”. I’m guessing I can remove the 3V CR2032 battery and solder the 3V battery power supply to the wireless switch – but I’m not sure where to solder the black and red wire.

This must be a rookie question – I know more about software than electronics.
Thanks in advance.

The two outer pads are +3V (red wire) and the inner pad (with red circle is Ground - black wire). You can see it more clearly in this picture which has the "+" on the top of battery clip which is soldered to the two outer pads.

Thanks - got it to work (for both the wireless switch as the wireless motion sensor).
Cheers.

And how long does last your new setup before having to change the battery again ?
