PRISMS-PF version 4.0 (official release coming soon)

Hello, everyone 

We are excited to announce the upcoming v4.0 release of PRISMS-PF, which includes major refactors to both the core library and applications. These changes provide performance optimizations and greater flexibility for users to specify the order in which coupled PDEs are solved. Note that this version has now been pushed to main branch of the GitHub repository, although the official release will occur in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted.

We have updated the instructions for building and installing the PRISMS-PF library in the Quick Start Guide section of the Github repository.

However, if you would like to use a previous version (e.g., 2.4.2 or 3.0), you can check out a specific tagged version using either of the following approaches:

$ git clone -b <version tag ID>  https://github.com/prisms-center/phaseField.git

or:

$ git clone https://github.com/prisms-center/phaseField.git

$ cd phaseField

$ git checkout <version tag ID>
