Hi, I use ebsd maps as input microstructure for PRISMS CPFE simulations, and mtex2gmsh app for generating mesh. The input orientations file for PRISMS uses values for entire grains, so as I understand it, initial orientation for all the nodes inside one grain would be the same. Is it possible to input initial orientations for nodes such as you could capture internal orientations gradients inside the input grains?
I could use smaller grain size tolerance angle to divide grains into smaller segments, but if the grain has smooth orientation gradient, that would not help me to divide it, and each segment would still has average orientation for that segment.
